Janet Morgan--Well, you're never too old to learn!  KidzArt turned me into a believer when I went to franchisee training in December of 2003.  When I finished my first drawing I thought, "Wow!  If this makes me feel so good, how will it make a child feel?"  As an empty nexter, KidzArt has given me a great opportunity to work with kids again.  It has also provided a creative outlet for skills developed as a wife, mother, grandmother, administrative assistant, school volunteer and meeting planner.  In 2004, my franchise won "Meeting the Challenge."  While I am not sure exactly what that means, I can say that I approach just about every new challenge with a positive "can do" attitude.  I love being involved in this program.  KidzArt is a hugh blessing in my life.  Seeing your children develop their own artistis personalities give me much joy.  It is always exciting to see what they will say or do next!

Michelle Schmidt--Hi!  My name is Michelle Schmidt.  I have been married for over 24 years.  I originally grew up in upstate New York but have lived in Raleigh since 1983.  I have two wonderful boys...my first is a freshman at East Carolina.  While my degree is in business, I truly believe that you are never too old to learn something new.  My kids are amazed at what I can do through teaching the KidzArt classes.  I love working with kids and have volunteered many hours at my children's preschool, elementary/middle schools and church.  Since my boys are getting older and don't want mom around so much anymore, working for Janet at KidzArt provides the perfect opportunity to spend time with kids again.

Kerry Sznajder--My name is Kerry Sznajder.  I have always enjoyed art and design.  I received my degree in Interior Design from Meredith College in 1994.  Since then I have mostly worked in retail businesses selling furniture, flooring, wallpaper, etc.  When my daughter, Kaitlin, was two years old I decided to become a stay-at-home mom.  Kaitlin is now in 8th grade.  Wow!  When I started with KidzArt, she was in 5th!  We discovered KidzArt when Kaitlin started fourth grade at Lynn Road Elementary.  We had been looking for programs that would challenge her artistic ability and we found it in KidzArt.  I was ver impressed with what she came home with each week.  I believe that what kids get out of KidzArt can help them in all academic areas and teaches them that they CAN do anything they set their minds to.

Linda Pukalo--For the last few years, I have been doing commissioned pieces in stained glass as a visual artist.  Now I enjoy teaching and learning from the "kidz" I meet through KidzArt.

Brenda Perry--I am excited to be a part of the KidzArt team.  I am a grandmother with two wonderful grandsons and have lived in Raleigh for 4 years.  I teach Preschool at Good Shepherd Lutheran and enjoy my KidzArt class at Hilburn Elementary.  I have been involved with educating children throughout my adult life and am still constantly amazed by their enthusiasm about learning new things.  I love to see the delight when they reach their goal or create something which makes them feel proud.  Art is an area where children can feel a sense of control over their world because they have the freedom to create something that expresses how they see things.  I look forward each week to helping children develop a positive sense of self through art expression.

Grace Regalado--I'm 23 and originally from the small "cornfield" town of Watsontown, PA.  I have a BS degree in Mass Media Arts, Journalism and Communication Studies from Clarion University.  Working with kids and in schools has always interested me but I just never really thought about pursuing a career in education.  I have recently relocated to the Raleigh area with my boyfriend, Colin and was looking for a job for myself.  I found out about KidzArt while sitting in a bank parking lot waiting for my parents.  I saw somebody walking around wearing a KidzArt tee shirt.  Later that day, I researched the company online and applied for a job "just because."  It seemed ideal because no specific degrees are required.  I am excited to be onboard working with KidzArt.  This will be like testing the waters for me.  I really admire KidzArt and the main rule that nothing has to be perfect.  Although that rule is entailed to the artwork, I hope it is something the kids will take and realize that, even in life, perfection isn't everything.  Lastly, and most importantly, I am mother to a beautiful little girl named Riley.  She has given me so much perspective and enlightenment...and a real purpose.  She and Colin are really teaching me what family is all about and it's a lot of fun having my two best friends by my side.
