I have always envied others who have the ability to draw.  As a teacher, my students always tell me that my pictures are excellent but I know they are just saying that!  I went into our KidzArt/Art Innovators lesson excited to spend some time with my teammates and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of art; however, I quickly felt panicked when shown the picture I was to draw and told I had to use a Sharpie (not a pencil).  I was utterly astonished at my finished product.  As the lesson began, I quickly relaxesd and learned to just go with the flow!  The step by step breakdown of the different lines in the figure made it very easy to follow along and create my own version of the fancy bird.  I was very proud to show off my art work (which I have never done before) and even went so far as to take it home and frame it.  It is now hanging in my spare bedroom!  Thank you again for the wonderful experience and I look forward to attending another session.
